Photowalking in Kreuzberg

Are you new in Berlin or is your German not quite where you’d like it to be?
Language classes seem like a hassle?

Practice your German on a photo walk, while exploring a neighborhood of Berlin!

We will meet up in a group of max. 5 people and we will walk around for a few hours with our cameras. What more could you ask for? Well – as stated above, the whole event is going to take place in German.
No other languages allowed. The atmosphere will be relaxed, so no worries. There are multiple learners and patience is a given, but you should be able to speak some German ;).

The thought behind this is that it will make it more interesting to talk about something you like. You’re more into it and can remember what you’ve learned easily. If you’re into photography, chances are your conversations with Germans drift off into that field anyway and you’ll normally not learn the vocabulary and expressions of that field in a class.

I’m not a professional Photographer. Some of my pictures are here. I’d consider myself an enthusiast, so I could show beginners a few things about their cameras, but pros will likely be more interested in the language part. With Summer coming up and people spending more time outside and travelling it’s a great time to find out how your camera works and you maximize the cool in your images!
There’s a blog post detailing the idea: Click me  (That post talks about the photowalk in English, but the same applies for German, just in German).

We’ll meet outside of Warschauer Straße U-Bhf and head out to Kreuzberg from there.

If it’s pouring we won’t go, but if it’s just a few drops I think we will survive the walk.
My number is 01737260428 in case you have trouble finding the location.
When in doubt, look for the guy with an afro, there’s a picture of me on the about page.
