This workshop will take you through each stage of the production of a artist’ s book / zine edition in silkscreen.
From the art work creation to colour separation, screen exposure, printing, ect.
We will also introduce you to a brief history of artists’ books and zines, and will show you tons of crazy artists’ books from our private collection.
We will teach you the techniques & tricks we master in a cheerful atmosphere.
For each session, we are welcoming 5 participants to do a project with us.
Each participants gets to do 2 pages in a collective silkscreen printed booklet.
The booklet will be 18 x 18 cm, 12 pages, hand-bound and in an edition of 60 ex.
At the end of the session, each participant gets 10 copies to take home.
Each workshop is 4 days long (from 11 AM to 6 PM).

18.08 – 21.08
The price is 200 € per session and incl. all material (paper, ink, film, screens etc.), plus 10 copies of the book.
The workshop will takes place at Re:Surgo! and is hosted by Anna Hellsgård & Christian Gfeller.
